Abstract:
Approximately one and a half thousand students architecture made a website for take-home
examination on different courses at the University of Technology Delft (TUD) during the last five years.
All required teaching material, documents, lectures, computer programs for these courses are freely
downloadable from the Internet: http://team.bk.tudelft.nl/ > education. Each website was judged by 10
to 30 criteria to be met. To avoid copy-paste the assignments had to be unique for each student but
comparable to be fair. One of the methods to make the assignments unique was asking the students
to publish images of their own design and to answer questions about actual and possible applications
of the required knowledge in these designs.
